Individuals, couples, children, friends and families. Typically 1 hour in length. I am open to providing longer sessions- 75-90 mins if that is a better fit for you.  Counselling sessions are informed by all of my approaches and are co-created based on you-in the moment- and where you want to grow. I also offer phone and video/ skype sessions.

Healing Touch Session

Through focused awareness of your body and the use of touch, we will support the nervous system to find its natural rhythm and regulation. This provides healing and release of trauma energy from the muscle, bone, tissue and organs. 1 hr in length.

Shamanic rattle, shamanic journeying offered by Courtney Wren Mabbutt, a therapist in Nelson, Castlegar, and the Slocan Valley.

Shamanic Journey

We'll create a clear intention as to what problem you wish to gain further insight into. Using medicine tools (ie. smudge and drumming) and the 4 elements we will co-operatively journey with mother earth and great spirit to gather wisdom & healing. 1 hr in length.

Fire ceremony, shamanic ceremonies offered by Courtney Wren Mabbutt, a therapist in Nelson, Castlegar, and the Slocan Valley.

Ceremony

Ceremony allows us to experientially mark a transition, a letting go, a remembering, and/or a calling in of new energies. We will co-create a ceremony together to honour this movement in your life. Typically 1 hr in length. I'm open to providing longer ceremonies.

Payment and insurance options

For payment I accept cash, cheque, or e transfer and I will provide a receipt.

For e-transfers I'm asking that people forward payment on the day of their session, prior to their session- if there is some reason this doesn’t work then please mention it to me so we can be clear on our arrangement. I am registered as a Clinical Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers so I am covered under most insurance/ benefit plans. I am approved for direct coverage under Crime Victim's Assistance Program.

The cost is sliding scale from $100-$140/ 1 hr session. You can decide what you can pay in this range. It’s important to me to have therapy as equally accessible. I have spots for those who experience a low income (some pro bono or less than $100/hr). In order to keep things flowing and balanced, a portion of my practice can be for those who are in a lower income bracket, with the other portion offsetting those costs. Those paying higher rates help support those who cannot afford those rates but who are equally deserving of support and wellbeing. This feels like an honouring of inclusive, cooperative community. Thanks for being a part of it!

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to give more than 24 hours notice of cancellation you will be charged for the session. This is to honour my time and use of the rental space.
