“I arrived at a place in my journey where it just wasn’t enough to see a therapist that I barely knew once a month or so to complain about my life. I needed a true friend to go deep with me and sit with me in my pain and confusion. Courtney was that friend for me. She heard my pain and held my hand, but didn’t let me dwell on it. She asked pertinent questions to help move me along at my own pace. She is laser sharp at seeing through the confusion and getting me back to my original intention.
The 6 month container was intimate, informative, and transformative on many deep levels. I finally feel like I’m on top of my game and all those little sneaky self-doubts have been able to be seen and heard, not only by Courtney but by my own inner witness.
I finally feel like I had the mothering experience that I have always craved. A ‘mother’ figure who is attuned and aware of my needs with out me always having to say. And also having my needs taken seriously when I ask for them, even when they may have been silly or stupid in my family of origin. She wasn’t ‘perfect' , but we were able to continue to dialogue for each of our needs along the way. Mothers have needs too, that was important for me to embody to. We accommodate for each other to be able to be together.
I deeply appreciate the container that Courtney was able to hold for me with her Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine aspect on board. It was a harmonious relationship between the two and each aspect was able to arrive when necessary, and making space for each others gifts. “
